This story is so important and sweeping the nation, that it deserves its own post.
Pop icon Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce are an item, I guess. He who has caught 825 receptions in his career has now landed his biggest and most prized catch of all, as Swift was seen in Kelce’s suite during the Chiefs’ 41-10 pantsing of the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The broadcast also showed the singer cursing — a hard F, mind you — after Kelce scored a second-quarter touchdown, his second of the season, with his mother by her side.
There are so many young girls (and boys) as well as working professionals of both sexes who look up to Swift, yet she still felt it was appropriate to drop a hard F on national television. What’s next? Is she going to promote premarital sex? Is she going to proclaim that vaping is hip and cool?
Despite her questionable influence, the NFL is leaning into Swift’s “relationship” with Kelce. For a moment, the league’s Twitter header and bio embraced the female who loves to break guys’ hearts. No surprise the NFL bent the knee because the Bears-Chiefs game had 24.3 million viewers, tops in the NFL for Week 3, primarily because of Swifties tuning in to see Blondie McGee.
Kelce might be the next gentleman who Swift writes a song about, and likely not in a good way. The act itself — badmouthing someone while strumming a guitar and inserting some musical sounds — is not a healthy way to cope for anyone if I do say so myself, and shows females (and males) around the globe that is OK to put males (or females) on blast. But that’s neither here nor there. Regardless, Kelce stands to cash in before the new hit single arrives. Front Office Sports reported that there was a 400% (!!) spike in jersey sales for No. 87 after Sunday’s contest; his podcast, “New Heights,” is ranked numero uno on Apple; and he added over 380,000 new Instagram followers.
Suffice to say, the Swifties might be the most passionate fanbase in the history of fanbases. You could actually make a strong argument that they are the most passionate fanbase in the history of fanbases. Case in point, her Era’s Tour is set to take in at least $1 billion, and likely more, which would be the highest-grossing tour in history. Altogether, I will give flowers to that passionate fanbase. Kudos to them for their tenacity.
Okie dokie, with that out of the way, let me acknowledge the quiet part out loud: some individuals within that fanbase are, um, unhinged. For starters, they refer to Swift as “Mother.” I shit you not. They did not come out of Swift’s you-know-what, but they still refer to her as Mother. Bananaland.
Next, they are not confident in identifying ranch dressing, the condiment, apparently. Twitter (“X,” to be proper) user (at)tswifterastour posted the following picture on the platform with the caption: “Taylor Swift was eating a piece of chicken with ketchup and seemingly ranch!”
Sheesh. But the news I will deliver next is the worst of all. Almost incomprehensible, really. As a matter of background, there are some males and females who are hardcore for astrology and astrology signs. I’m not going to judge because I clap, hoot, and holler like an utter psycho for my sports teams. That said, I think X user, (at)northastrology, went a bit too far with her astrological take.
Since Travis Kelce’s birth time is not known (yet, give me time) here is Taylor Swift’s birth chart with Kelce’s planets on the outer wheel
His Libra Sun + Mars boosts her 11th House of friendships and community
His Scorpio Venus conjunct her Scorpio Mars means ELECTRICITY for them both
His Moon & her Sun are hilarious & their connection feels like best friends meets lovers
Kelce’s last breakup revolved around his ex being a spoiled brat and him not wanting to foot the bill/be embarrassed by her antic much longer. His mom/family couldn’t stand her… meanwhile this 2nd House pileup indicates they both bring their own to the table. His Saturn conjunct her Mercury in the 2nd House indicates marriage potential here.
They have the same path as far as soul purpose, living by example through human connection is exactly what they embody.
Taylor’s Vertex (aka spiritual gifts and magical people you may meet) and Jupiter is conjunct Kelce’s Jupiter, showing a LOOOOOOOOOOT of motherly love + approval on both ends.
Travis’ Mercury falls in her 10th House making her public image impacted by him in a positive way, a Virgo Mercury may be critical at times and Travis will have to push past his discomfort of everyone knowing his business for this to be manageable long term
Holy hell in a handbasket. Goodnight.
